What Marsh won't do
An AI that texts you first has to be easy to stop. Each of these is enforced in the product, and each comes with a control that's yours.
Marsh is an AI, and it says so
It tells you in its first text, and any time you ask after that. It will never claim to be a person.
Ask it: "are you a bot?"
It won't blow up your phone
A check-in is Marsh asking how your goal is going. At most one a day, never at night, and never a pile of them. A reminder you asked for is separate, and arrives when you said.
Tell Marsh to stop checking in
Ignore it and it goes quiet
Stop replying and it stops checking in, until you text it again. No second guess, and no "we miss you".
Don't reply. That's the control
It never guilt-trips you
Not about a missed day, and not at the paywall. No shame, no threats, no urgency. A missed day gets a smaller next step.
Reply STOP and everything stops
It works every time, and nothing you say next can be argued with. START brings Marsh back.
Text STOP
You can read, edit or delete what it remembers
Marsh keeps a short written profile: your goals, your schedule, what tends to derail you. It's plain sentences, and the Memory page shows every one of them.
You see the charge date before the trial starts
The checkout page shows the date and the amount for the plan you pick. Marsh texts you the day before the trial ends, and says the amount again.
It never sees your passwords
Payments run on Stripe. Apps like Google and Notion connect through their own sign-in pages, so Marsh gets a permission you can take back, not a password.
